May Clay County Pachyderm Meeting features Patrick Tuohey of the Show-Me Institute

The Clay County Pachyderm Club will be meeting at the Pizza Ranch meeting room in Liberty on Thursday, May 9th at 6:00 PM.

The meeting  will feature Patrick Tuohey of the Show-Me Institute. 

The Show-Me Institute is a research and educational institute which is interested in “Advancing Liberty with Responsibility by Promoting Market Solutions for Missouri Public Policy”.

Patrick has He previously operated his own corporate market research company in Maryland and then relocated to Kansas City in 2005. He served as an aide to U.S. Rep. John L. Mica (R-Fla.) in Washington, D.C. Patrick’s duties included communication and legislative work, and constituent survey research. In 1995, Patrick became director of communications for Frank Luntz’s polling shop,

Cost is free for members & $2 for nonmembers.

March Clay County Pachyderm meeting will discuss gun control legislation

The Clay County Pachyderm March will be meeting at the Pizza Ranch meeting room in Liberty on Thursday, March 14 at 6:00 PM.

The meeting  will feature Local Attorney Kevin Jamison who will be addressing  proposed gun control legislation.

Kevin frequently speaks on law, personal security, and firearms related issues. He has helped teach the Western Missouri Shooters Alliance (WMSA) personal protection course since its inception, primarily the legal instruction. He taught undergraduate courses in criminal law, law and society, and law and terrorism at Avila College (now Avila University). Kevin moderated the Missouri Bar’s class on Immigration law in June, 2001. Kevin has presented firearms Continuing Legal Education classes for the Missouri Bar Association and the Missouri Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

The Clay County Pachyderm Club will be meeting in January at Staley Farms Golf Club, Thursday January 10 at 6:00 PM. All those interested in Republican politics are invited to attend.

The Clay County Pachyderms meet monthly on the second Thursday from 6:00 to 7:30PM, at Staley Farms Golf Clubhouse, 10310 North Olive Avenue, Kansas City. Cost is $10 for members and $12 for nonmembers, which covers hors d’oeuvre and a drink ticket. Parking is free.

Jack Cashill to address December Pachyderm Meeting

Jack Cashill will address the Clay County Pachyderms at their December meeting on Thursday, December 13, from 6 to 7:30 PM. Cashill is an independent writer and producer and the Executive Editor of Ingram’s Magazine, Kansas City’s premier business magazine.

Cashill has also written for Fortune, The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post, The Weekly Standard, AmericanThinker.com, and regularly for WorldNet Daily. In addition to publishing a collection of essays and a novel, Cashill has written numerous non-fiction books. Three of them have cracked Amazon’s top-ten list within the past seven years. His latest book, Deconstructing Obama” The Life, Loves, and Letters of America’s First Postmodern President, discusses whether President Barack Obama has written his own books and speeches.
