Michael McShane of the Show-Me Institute to address Clay County Pachyderms in October

Michael McShane of the Show-Me Institute will address the Clay County Pachyderms Thursday October 13th.  He is the Director of Education Policy for the institute.  Mr McShane will be discussing Amendment 3 on the November ballot.

The Show-Me Institute is the only think tank in Missouri dedicated to promoting free markets and individual liberty.  It’s mission statement is “Advancing liberty with responsibility by promoting market solutions for Missouri public policy”.

The club will meet at the Pizza Ranch meeting room, 116 Stewart Ct, in Liberty, across the street from the Lowe’s, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday October 13th. Cost is free for members and $5 for nonmembers.

The Clay County Pachyderms will be meeting Thursday, September 8. We are encouraging the campaigns of each of the local and statewide Republican nominees to send representatives to discuss the general election.

We will meet at the Pizza Ranch meeting room, 116 Stewart Ct, in Liberty, across the street from the Lowe’s, from 6 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursdday September 8th. Cost is free for members and $5 for nonmembers.

The June meeting of the Clay County Pachyderms will be held on Thursday, June 9, from 6 to 7:30 PM. Clay County Republican representatives to Jefferson City have been invited to present a legislative session wrap-up at Pizza Ranch, 116 Stewart Ct in Liberty
 
The representatives and senators will review and share their reflections on the recently-concluded legislative session, with special focus on implications and impact on Clay County and the Northland in general.
 
Cost is free for members and $5 for nonmembers.

Joyce Mucci of the Federation for Immigration Reform to address Clay County Pachyderms in May

Joyce Mucci field representative of the  Federation for Immigration Reform (FAIR) to address Clay County Pachyderms in May.  The club will be meeting on Thursday, May 12th at the Liberty Pizza Ranch.

FAIR (http://www.fairus.org) the Federation for American Immigration Reform is a non-profit, non-partisan organization of concerned individuals who believe that immigration laws must be reformed to better serve the needs of current and future generations. For more than 35 years, FAIR has been leading the call for immigration reform by offering and advocating solutions that help reduce the harmful impact of uncontrolled immigration on national security, jobs, education, health care, and our environment.

Secretary of State candidate Will Kraus to address Clay County Pachyderms in January

The Clay County Pachyderms will be meeting Thursday, January 14th at 6 PM featuring State Senator Will Kraus, candidate for Missouri Secretary of State, at the Liberty Pizza Ranch.

Senator Kraus represents Jackson county in the State Senate, was elected to the Missouri House of Representatives in 2004 and then elected to the Senate in 2010.  He is currently in the Missouri National Guard and previously served in the US Army.  The Senator will will be speaking about his campaign and his priorities for her term if elected.
